Zeolite Pool Sand 

Natural Zeolite filter media is a replacement for sand in pool filtration.  The main reason zeolite is being adopted as a new media for pool filtration is the rapid filtration to a clarity of 3 microns, compared with sand at 20-40 micron.

Zeolite surface area is 100 times greater than sand, which means it has a far greater ability to trap fine particles present in water.

Application:

25 pounds replaces 50 pounds of sand

Pre-rinse zeolite to remove most of the dust, this will allow for the filtration process to start much sooner as the agitated dust can take longer to settle.  This is particularly beneficial for smaller pools or pools with smaller filters that will take time to process the water.
